Marina

Description

History & Legacy Palm Cove Marina has a long history on Jacksonville's Intracoastal Waterway, dating back to the 1990s when Andy Williams owned and operated Jacksonville Yacht Basin at the marina's present location. In 2000, Ron Foster of the Stellar Group led a total renovation of the property, adding a new dry storage facility, new docks, and retail space before renaming the world-class facility Palm Cove Marina. Under its current ownership group since 2006, Palm Cove Marina has continued to invest in the property, earning distinction as the second marina in Jacksonville to receive Clean Marina certification.

Dry Storage & Wet Slips Palm Cove Marina is home to the largest dry storage facility on Jacksonville's Intracoastal Waterway, spanning 72,000 square feet, along with wet slips built to accommodate most types of crafts. Boaters have access to 30 and 50 amp electric service, transient dockage, a pump-out station, and channel dredging to keep the waterway accessible, giving both dry storage and wet slip customers a well-maintained, full-service marina experience. For boats kept in wet slips long-term, DS Diving's underwater hull cleaning keeps hulls and running gear free of marine growth between scheduled haul-outs.

Full Marine Service & On-Site Businesses Beyond storage and dockage, Palm Cove Marina offers full marine service on-site through factory certified technicians, along with sales and brokerage of new and used boats. The marina also supports a thriving on-site business community spanning marine services and retail, giving boaters a one-stop destination for maintenance, provisioning, and everything in between. For prop work that doesn't require a full haul-out, DS Diving offers underwater prop pulling, pulling and reinstalling propellers in the water to get boats moving again without disrupting the yard's service schedule.

Amenities & Guest Experience Palm Cove Marina rounds out its offerings with amenities designed for comfort and convenience, including a ship store, on-site restaurant, laundry facility, Wi-Fi, and a picnic and BBQ area for boaters to relax dockside. Competitively priced gate gas and diesel make fueling up simple, while the marina's monitoring of VHF Channel 16 ensures boaters can reach the team directly while underway.

Location & Nearby Area Palm Cove Marina's Jacksonville Beach-area location puts boaters close to everything they need, with a complete shopping center and an emergency care center both within a block of the marina. Nearby attractions include the Jacksonville Beach Pier, Adventure Landing, Beach Bowl bowling alley, and Publix Supermarket, along with marine supplies at West Marine, making Palm Cove Marina a convenient home base for boaters exploring Jacksonville Beach and the surrounding area.
